Andy Hart Photographer
I was born in Nottingham in 1975 and grew up in Sandiacre and Long Eaton.
I had an interest in photography from a early age, started off as a youngster with several Kodak instamatic cameras, before owning my first SLR camera in my early teens,as a birthday present, a Practica PM3,which i still have to this day, this was when i really started to get into my photography, any spare time i had i would be out on my bike taking photos of anything and everything, and in the days of film cameras, everything was done manually,so you were never quite sure how your pictures would turn out, so you would take your film in the the chemists, and collect your prints a few days later, then the moment of truth,on the whole most of my prints came out okay, but just having your camera on the wrong setting could ruin the whole film, as on occasions it did for me,but as they say you learn by your mistakes, and i did.
In 2006 i moved from Long Eaton, and now live in Stanground in Peterborough, and now have a whole new world to photograph, with Cambridgeshire and the Fens on my doorstep, and Lincolnshire, and Norfolk in easy reach.
I now use a Nikon D5600 DSLR camera, there are alot of advantages of using a digital camera, the main advantage is that you don`t have to wait to finish your film and wait to have it processed, the result is instant, and if your not happy with your shot you can just retake it till you are.
Some of people in the digital age use Photoshop to enhance their pictures or add and remove items they don`t want in their pictures,i don`t believe in that, all my pictures are as i have taken them.
Nothing much has changed over the years,i still get out with my camera whenever i can,and can often be seen walking around Peterborough with a camera around my neck, and still get that same buzz out of Photography today as i did all those years ago.
